About Me

I was born in East Lake Weir, FL at the cusp of the 80s, reared mostly in rural Central Florida (Marion, Lake, and Sumter Counties) and joined the United States Army at 18. I have lived in several states and countries. I retired after over 23 years of active duty service. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Keiser University in Florida.

My love of nature was spurred at an early age living near to the marshes and forests. As a child I used to spend hours in the woods exploring. One of my greatest joys in during my service was the chance to experience nature around the world. From the Wetterstein and Swartzwald of Germany, to the sea-side grottoes and volcanic lakes of Sicily, to the foot hills of the Hindu Kush and Tian Shan of Central Asia, and the Baekdu-daegan of Korea. I have been privileged to see some of the most beautiful manifestations of Nature.
